The Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission (ANSIEC) has said that the sensitive election materials are ready for deployment ahead of Saturday council poll in the state.
Chinedu Nnalue, commissioner In-charge of Information and Publicity, said in Awka on Monday that arrangements and preparations had been concluded for a peaceful and credible poll on Aug. 29 across the state.
According to him, sensitive materials for the election are ready and would soon be deployed to the 21 local government areas of the state.

He noted that 36 election observers have applied to monitor the exercise across the 336 political wards in the state.
