Tornado Cash developer Roman Storm's retrial has been pushed back to April 26, 2027, in light of his pending motion for acquittal.

District Judge Katherine Polk Failla ordered Tuesday that the retrial will begin on that day in the Thurgood Marshall Courthouse in New York, with a final pretrial conference scheduled for April 20, 2027.
Storm, the co-founder of crypto mixing service Tornado Cash, was accused of facilitating the laundering of more than $1 billion in illicit funds.
In August 2025, a jury convicted him on a count of money transmitting but did not reach a verdict on other charges related to money laundering and sanctions evasion.
