s this is a piece about women of fortitude I’ll share my story of a feat I accomplished by pushing the very limits of my dynamism and ambition: I went out one evening, actually out. Yes, I know, and thank you.
I bought a ticket to see Laura Kuenssberg, political editor of the BBC, give an off-the-record speech. I mean, this in light of the fact there was a perfectly nice sofa and a hot cross bun at home, where I would normally stay in and watch Kuenssberg appear on the News at Ten, talking so incisively about the state of the world it cured even my terrible affliction of offering armchair-commentary on the colour of any TV journalist’s coat.
