The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has published an interactive 3D model of the Russian Su-35S multi-role fighter jet and data on 79 companies involved in its production on the War&Sanctions portal.
The Main Intelligence Directorate announced this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
According to intelligence reports, the Russian military uses the Su-35S primarily to provide air cover for its Su-34 fighter-bomber strike groups, ground forces, and facilities, as well as to intercept Ukrainian drones and cruise missiles and counter Ukraine’s air defense systems.
The companies whose details were disclosed by the DIU are involved in the development and production of the Su-35S’s engines and fuel systems, as well as its control, communications, guidance, and electronic warfare systems, and the primary air-to-air missiles used by this aircraft.
Twenty-two of the 79 companies mentioned are not currently subject to sanctions by any country in the sanctions coalition. Among them are:
