This week, software giant Nvidia said it will infuse $1.5 billion into a massive data center and its 9.2 gigawatt gas-fired power plant in southern Ohio. But while the Ports-Pike Technology Campus sits in the heart of gas-rich Appalachia, there are no announced plans to build pipeline capacity to the project, which would require up to 1.5 billion cubic feet per day around the clock.
