A fire broke out in Chernihiv after a Russian Shahed-type drone struck a private home. Two children were among the victims.
According to Ukrinform, Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
“As a result of an attack on the city, an enemy Shahed drone struck a private home. A fire broke out at the site of the impact. Among the victims is a 6-year-old child,” the message reads.
Later, the head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration reported that, according to preliminary data, one private home was destroyed and five others were damaged as a result of the evening attack on the city.
The Chernihiv Regional Police specified that a 62-year-old woman, a 73-year-old man, and two boys aged 10 and 12 were injured.
