Burger King is overhauling its chicken nuggets after thousands of customer complaints described the current version as "rubbery," "dry," and "disappointing," the company said Tuesday.
The new nuggets, made with 100% white meat chicken, feature crispier breading and an improved marinade. They will also arrive in new box packaging, replacing the previous bag or paper wrap, which the company said is designed to keep the product hotter longer. The updated nuggets go on sale September 1.
