McKesson $MCK Corporation signed a definitive agreement to acquire Precision Medicine Group, a global provider of clinical research and biopharma commercialization services, for approximately $2.25 billion, the company said Tuesday.

Once the transaction closes, Precision Medicine Group will become part of McKesson's Oncology & Multispecialty segment. The deal is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory clearances. No closing date was given by McKesson, according to Reuters.
