HBO has dropped the teaser for The Gilded Age‘s upcoming fourth season, which is set to premiere in the fall.

The minute-and-a-half-long teaser kicks off with Carrie Coon’s Bertha Russell telling viewers, “We’re truly being tested, we must fight with every tool we have. No one has all the power all the time.” The Emmy-nominated series, hailing from Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes, is set to return on Nov. 1 on HBO and HBO Max.

The season four logline states, “Bertha Russell changed society at a cost. Now, her family must reckon with the consequences as Agnes van Rhijn (Christine Baranski) seizes an opportunity to regain her position. Meanwhile, Marian (Louisa Jacobson) forges a new path for herself, and Peggy (Denee Benton) works to be accepted by her future in-laws. In this new era, you must be careful what you wish for.”

Season four will premiere about 15 months after the end of The Gilded Age’s third season, which ended with a potential shakeup between Coon and Morgan Spector’s Bertha and George Russell. The third season was the show’s most watched to date.
