Veteran Nollywood actress Ronke Oshodi Oke has sparked public discussion across social media following an admission regarding her potential involvement in political campaigns and celebrity endorsements.
According to a report, the popular performer made the remarks during an appearance on the digital talk show Africa A-List.
Addressing her audience directly, Ronke Oshodi explained, in a viral video, that any future public alignment with political figures would be driven entirely by financial necessity rather than genuine political conviction or ideological support.
”My people, if you ever see me standing behind a politician, just know Ronke wants to eat,” the actress stated during the broadcast. “She is looking for something to put food on her table. Try to understand and don’t drag me.”
