Rajya Sabha member and BJP’s national vice president M. Nagaraj said on Tuesday that a Seva Sankalp Abhiyan will be held across the country from September 17 to October 17 in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years in public service, including 13 years as the Chief Minister of Gujarat and 12 years as the Prime Minister of India.Addressing presspersons in Udupi, he said that Mr. Modi’s administration is without any black spots. Efforts are being made to provide administration and facilities to the last person of the society under the Antyodaya thought of Deen Dayal Upadhyay.Special works under the ‘Seva Sankalpa’ campaign will be taken up including providing various facilities to 25 crore students of the country, organising drawing competition, felicitating anganwadi workers, Ministers interacting with young people at 1,000 places, and Ministers visiting universities.The hardships, feelings and opinions of students should be heard, he said adding that the BJP will stand with the young people. Although there is a law to sing Vande Mataram in full, the Congress is far away from the spirit of respect, refusing to sing more than two lines, showing disrespect to Vande Mataram, he said.Referring to the State politics, he said the BJP will not keep quiet until Minister Nagendra resigns. The BJP’s fight seeking his resignation will be extended to public places in the coming days after the party’s fight in Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council.The party’s Udupi district president Kuthyaru Naveen Shetty, former district presidents K. Udaya Kumar Shetty, Mattaru Ratnakar Hegde, Kuiladi Suresh Nayak and others were present.Mr. Nagaraj later visited Dakshina Kannada district office of the party in Mangaluru.
