The political drama surrounding Endowments Minister Konda Surekha and Telangana State Planning Board Vice-Chairman G. Chinna Reddy, whose alleged defiance of party discipline has embarrassed the Congress government, is likely to culminate in their removal from their respective posts, according to party sources.In all likelihood, Ms. Surekha and Mr. Chinna Reddy may be asked to resign from their positions and could be sacked if they refuse to step down, the sources said.
