Phuket preparing to host Global Wellness Summit 2026 in November

The National Thai Massage and National Wellness Expo generated more than 75 million baht, demonstrating the potential of traditional knowledge in global markets, according to the government.Deputy government spokesperson Ploytalay Laksmeesangchan said the event, held in Bangkok from Aug 20-22 under the theme “Honouring Thai Wisdom, Expanding the New Economy, Reaching International Frontiers”, attracted members of the public, entrepreneurs, investors and health experts from Thailand and abroad.

More than 100 exhibitors showcased the country’s wellness industry, generating business deals worth 75.4 million baht and strengthening Thailand’s position as a global wellness hub.

Thailand will build on this momentum by hosting the Global Wellness Summit 2026 in Phuket from Nov 10–13, promoting the country as a destination for wellness and high-quality international investment.
