The companies will host a one-day dog drive-thru in Quincy, Massachusetts, alongside a new toy collection benefiting children's hospitals

Dunkin' and dog brand BARK announced a first-of-its-kind dog drive-thru experience on Wednesday at a Dunkin' location in Quincy, Massachusetts, to mark National Dog Day.

The event, called "Dunkin' for Dogs," runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET at 588 Washington St. in Quincy. Dogs visiting the second lane can receive treats, limited-edition bandanas, and plush toys from the new BARK x Dunkin' collection when guests make a donation to the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation, while the adjacent lane continues serving human customers as usual, the company said.

The promotion marks the collaboration's seventh anniversary; since launching, the two companies have together sold upward of 1 million dog toys and generated more than $15 million for the foundation. Donations support the foundation's Dogs for Joy program, which places trained facility dogs in children's hospitals. As of the announcement, grants from the program have placed dogs at 37 hospitals in 54 facilities nationwide, the company said.
