Ukraine’s Defense Procurement Agency DOT has announced its first procurement of ground robotic systems based on the tactical and technical specifications established by the Ministry of Defense.
Ukrinform reported this, citing the Ministry of Defense press service.
The procurement is expected to include two types of ground robotic systems: logistics systems for transporting cargo, delivering essential supplies, and evacuating wounded personnel; and strike systems for engaging designated targets.
The systems must be capable of operating over rough terrain, provide reliable remote control, and transmit video and operational data to the operator.
Manufacturers and suppliers whose products meet the established specifications and requirements are invited to participate in the procurement. One of the key requirements is having at least one codified product in the ground robotic systems category.
