Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Ben McKenzie has joined Season 2 of Sheriff Country, which stars his wife and former Gotham co-star Morena Baccarin.
"As Sheriff Mickey Fox (Baccarin) struggles to process a shocking revelation about her family, she races to save a troubled young woman whose descent into a dangerous criminal operation uncovers a growing threat to all of Edgewater," CBS said in a press release Monday.
"Ben McKenzie guest stars as Sheriff Wade, a neighboring sheriff who is called in to assist Sheriff Mickey, and has a few secrets of his own, on the second season premiere of Sheriff Country, Friday, Oct. 9."
Set in rural northern California, the show also stars Matt Lauria, Christopher Gorham, Michele Weaver and W. Earl Brown.
