Chinese hot-pot chain Hadilao International's net profit rose slightly in the first half of the year despite, weak consumer sentiment and stiff competition.
Net profit for the six months ended June edged up 0.5% to 1.77 billion yuan, equivalent to $263.3 million, the Beijing-based company said Tuesday.
Revenue climbed 7.9% to 22.34 billion yuan.
The average table turnover rate at its self-operated restaurants was 3.9 a day, compared with 3.8 for the profitability metric during the same period a year earlier.
