Intel Corp (NASDAQ:INTC) stock climbed nearly 4% in Tuesday premarket trading as improving risk sentiment lifted semiconductor stocks. Nasdaq futures rose 1.01%, while S&P 500 futures gained 0.50%.
The chipmaker announced on Monday that it is expanding its AI lineup with new processors and graphics products aimed at improving how businesses handle AI workloads across data centers, laptops and other devices.
Intel Expands AI Portfolio Across Data Centers And PCs
At Hot Chips 2026, Intel is highlighting three products aimed at different parts of the AI market: Diamond Rapids for large enterprise workloads, Crescent Island for running AI models in data centers, and Wildcat Lake for laptops and edge devices.
Diamond Rapids targets large-scale business AI applications and supports up to 256 cores, giving companies more computing capacity for demanding workloads.
