India’s communications minister said the country has an opportunity to shape international standards and technology development in 6G, quantum communications and quantum security.

C-DoT unveiled nearly 14 quantum products as part of its efforts to develop indigenous telecommunications and quantum technologies.

The government is also supporting Indian participation in international 6G standards while pushing C-DoT to shorten its 12-to-18-month product development cycle.

India has an opportunity to create an impact in sixth-generation (6G) technology, quantum communications, and quantum security, Minister of State for Communications Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani said on Tuesday, speaking at the 43rd foundation day of the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT).
