Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) has raised the prices for its Cybertruck all-electric pickup truck in the U.S. by up to $5,000 for some trim levels in the lineup.
Cybertruck New Pricing Structure
The EV giant hiked prices of the Cybertruck’s Dual-Motor AWD trim level to $74,990, according to the company’s website, cited by influencer Sawyer Merritt, from $69,990, illustrating a 7.1% increase. The mid-level Premium AWD trim was hiked 6.2% to $84,990 from $79,990.
However, the range-topping Cyberbeast trim remains the same as before at $99,990. Notably, the price difference between the entry-level Dual-Motor AWD trim and the range-topping trim has come down to roughly $25,000. It remains unclear why Tesla made changes to the prices at this moment.
The EV giant had launched the entry-level trim earlier this year at $59,990 with a 325-mile range, but a reduced towing capacity of 7,500 lbs. However, the price changes may not have done much by way of increasing sales, as the EV giant had recorded that 7,133 Cybertrucks had been registered in the United States through May 2026.
