Iran's attacks on Gulf Arab states failed to achieve their objectives, deepening Tehran's isolation and weakening its strategic position.

The US Treasury Department broadened the scope of secondary sanctions against Iran, giving every country a deadline to sever economic ties.

The UAE severed trade and financial ties with Tehran following Iranian missile and drone attacks on Emirati targets, including Adnoc-owned ships.

At least a dozen people have been killed and more than 200 injured in the Emirates since the US-Israel war on Iran began on 28 February.
