Among the international dignitaries sending their greetings were the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, the Saudi Crown Prince and Chairman of the Council of Ministers, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and King Carl Gustaf R of Sweden.

In his congratulatory letter, Chinese President Xi Jinping "hailed the deep historical friendship binding Morocco and China," emphasizing that both countries have upheld "mutual respect, dialogue and shared gains" since establishing diplomatic ties 68 years ago.
