Newcode’s agentic AI platform for the legal sector is targeted at law firms, government agencies and various regulated industries.

Norwegian legal-tech start-up Newcode has increased its total funding to €17m through a Series A funding round led by OnDean Forward, with participation from The LegalTech Fund alongside Antiportfolio Ventures, Relativity investment arm Rel Labs and existing investors.

The company said the new funding will support its US expansion, including through “customer support, product development, go-to-market, and strategic partnerships across the AmLaw 200 and broader legal ecosystem”.

Newcode established a presence in Dublin in March – when it secured a seed funding round of more than €5.7m – with initial plans to hire 30 people here. The Dublin-based team now stands at 60 and is led by Donna O’Leary, a former solicitor.
