CCSH Corporation, the parent of Chinese memory chip giant Yangtze Memory Technologies Corporation (YMTC), announced on August 21 that it plans to raise at least RMB 33 billion (USD 4.9 billion) in a listing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
The company, which recently became the world’s third largest NAND flash chipmaker, will list on the tech-focused Star Market as the artificial intelligence boom brings a windfall to data center suppliers. 1.98–2.43 billion shares will be issued.
Industry executives expect its valuation to match that of recently listed peer ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT).
CCSH disclosed in its prospectus for the first time that revenue for the first three months of 2026 reached RMB 48.21 billion (USD 7.2 billion), while net profit hit RMB 36.71 billion (USD 5.4 billion), more than double of all of last year, thanks to a significant price surge in the memory chip market.
It also said the company turned a profit for the first time in 2024, according to its prospectus filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
