He was shelved for last night’s game in Tennessee after being the clear best player on the team the previous week, which indicates that Macdonald views him as a crucial player that can’t be risked. That’s two missed field goals and a missed extra point so far, all kicks you’d expect a good kicker to make. The main reason why was Connor O’Toole, who was credited with six pressures by Pro Football Focus last night. He, Jamie Sheriff, and Jalan Gaines are in a battle to make the roster, and O’Toole did himself some serious favors here.Stock Down: Jalen MilroeThe good news is the Seahawks can afford to be patient with Jalen if they want to be. The bad news is he’s not showing any signs of improvement that makes the decision obvious. Last night was the worst he’s looked so far in his career, and he’s put zero points on the board through two preseason games. He took what was easy and routine all night, cashing in on checkdowns and short throws, while tossing in a shot or two before hitting Arroyo on a broken coverage. It happened last week, and it happened again this week. For much of the second half, despite playing from behind, Tennessee was able to pick up big chunks of yardage by just going right up the middle. Uso Seumalo, J.R.
