The tropical blend of mango, pineapple, and strawberry will be available in full- and zero-sugar varieties through October
Mountain Dew and Trolli are releasing a new Mango Pineapple Punch soda in a limited-time collaboration, the brands said. The soda is available beginning this August and will be sold through October.
The new soda combines mango and pineapple with a touch of strawberry, the company said. The flavor profile was inspired by Trolli's recently launched Spicy Crawlers, whose three varieties — Pineapple Habanero, Mango Habanero, and Strawberry Habanero — each contributed to the new drink's taste, according to Allrecipes. Unlike those candies, the new soda will not be spicy, the company said.
Unlike the previous Trolli collaboration, which came exclusively in a zero-sugar formulation, the new Mango Pineapple Punch will be sold in both full-sugar and zero-sugar versions. The cans and bottles will be available at retailers nationwide and at participating Pizza Hut locations, the company said.
