A fire broke out at a Ukrainian Red Cross warehouse in Kherson following a Russian drone attack on the evening of August 23, damaging or destroying humanitarian supplies worth nearly ₴28 million.
The Ukrainian Red Cross reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
The damaged and destroyed items included equipment and materials for preparing for the autumn-winter, as well as supplies for responding to the aftermath of shelling, including materials for temporarily covering damaged buildings.
The warehouse also stored medical supplies, blankets, hygiene kits, equipment for providing water and electricity, and other humanitarian aid.
No staff members or volunteers were injured.
