The basic Kindle measures six inches, but it comes with ads, doesn't have an e-ink display, and it's only $10 less expensive compared to the sale price on the Kobo Clara Colour. Plus, like the name suggests, you get a color display on the Kobo Clara.Mashable Lead Shopping Reporter Samantha Mangino reviewed the Kobo Clara Colour and wrote, "The Clara took me by surprise, a perfectly handheld e-reader that's an incredible value considering its color display." Kindles win when it comes to battery life, but I'm not upset to recharge my Kobo every six weeks or so.
