Michael Regan / Getty ImagesAug. 24, 2026 11:32 am EDT Updated Former snooker player Graeme Dott has been found guilty of multiple child sex offences.Glasgow High Court ruled on Monday that the Scot exhibited “lewd, indecent and libidinous practices” towards two children aged around 10 at the time.This included multiple offences of sexual penetration and indecent exposure towards both victims over a period of years in Scotland.Last year, the 49-year-old had been charged in relation to the historic offences towards the children between 1993 and 2010. The first charge was between 1993 and 1996, and the second was between 2006 and 2010.Dott denied the allegations in court but was found guilty ahead of his sentencing on September 29 at Edinburgh High Court.At the time of the offences described by the second charge, the former snooker player became world champion in the 2006 final at the Crucible in Sheffield. He was a professional for 26 years before being suspended by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) after being charged.
