On the Rs 60,000 rent and maintenance figure, she noted that rental costs in Bengaluru fluctuate widely depending on the residential society, adding that even similar flats can be priced very differently across different parts of the city. She also broke down their grocery spending, explaining that a large share of the Rs 13,000 to Rs 14,000 monthly bill goes toward high-protein foods. Items such as whey protein, Greek yogurt and paneer, she said, tend to add up quickly given their focus on high-protein essentials. On the travel front, Shubhi clarified that the Rs 9 lakh annual figure is not an estimate but is based on actual spending tracked over the past two years, during which the couple has travelled together regularly and recorded their trip expenses, with the monthly average calculated from that data.Tracking spending, not splitting billsWhile the couple keeps a close eye on where their money goes, Shubhi clarified that this does not extend to tracking who owes whom. She wrote that although they track their expenses, they are not monitoring every rupee spent in order to settle individual dues between them.Disclaimer: This report is based on user based content and for informational basis only.
