The Boston Red Sox look like one of the hottest teams in baseball once again right now. Boston has won seven of its last 10 games, including three games in a row after sweeping the San Francisco Giants over the weekend at Fenway Park. The Red Sox look great right now and will get reinforcements soon. Roman Anthony is scheduled to continue his minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Worcester beginning on Tuesday. Both Trevor Story and Isiah Kiner-Falefa will be evaluated on Monday to see where they stand in their recoveries. On Monday, the Red Sox will also kick off a seven-game road trip. Boston is hitting the road and will face off against the Miami Marlins in a three-game series before going to New York to face the Yankees in a four-game set. While a matchup with the Marlins may not sound like much, it's important. Boston just three games behind the Yankees right now in the standings. If Boston can stay hot and take down Miami, it will enter its upcoming series against New York with a chance to move ahead.Here are the Red Sox's scheduled starters for the Marlins series. Suárez tossed 5 1/3 innings against Arizona and allowed four earned runs, while striking out three batters. Overall, Suárez has made 22 starts for Boston so far this season and has a 5-3 record and a 3.41 ERA in 113 1/3 innings pitched. Boston has a tough matchup on its hands. Miami will turn to former Cy Young Award winner Sandy Alcántara on Monday night. The lefty has been incredible for the Red Sox this season, despite the fact that he didn't make the Opening Day roster. Tolle has a 3.08 ERA in 21 starts so far in his rookie year across 120 innings of work. Plus, Tolle has a 134-to-33 strikeout-to-walk ratio. His command has been elite and his secondary pitches have significantly improved over the course of the season. Tolle is a star and the Marlins are going to see him in action on Tuesday. The 36-year-old is having one of the best seasons of his career so far and has a 2.79 ERA in 24 starts to show for it. Plus, he has a 16-3 record as well.
