Belagavi will play host to Agamya Tech Summit 2026 at S.G. Balekundri Institute of Technology (SGBIT) on August 29 and 30.The theme is “Career and Research in Cybersecurity”.It aims to promote research, innovation, skills and academia-industry collaboration in Belagavi and North Karnataka.The summit will bring together experts, industry leaders, researchers, students, startups and innovators, said a release.Key areas include Cybersecurity, AI, Digital Identity, Ethical Hacking, IoT Security, Incident Response and Cloud Technologies.Director-General, Software Technology Park of India (STPI), Arvind Kumar will be the chief guest. Belgaum Oxygen Pvt. Ltd Managing Director Venkatesh Patil will be the guest of honour.The summit will be hosted by STEAMH Training and Research Foundation created by the Naganur Shri Rudrakshi Math and supported by Transdisciplinary Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd.The event is being organised in strategic partnership with Agamya Cyber Tech, Dharwad, along with CoE in Cybersecurity, SGBIT.The National CTF Cybersecurity Grand Finale will offer prizes of ₹50,000, ₹30,000 and ₹20,000 to the top three teams.A special session will focus on Cybersecurity Awareness and Law Enforcement Training, including cybercrime investigation and digital evidence by Venkatesh Sharma and Tejas.Experts Ram Kunchanuru, Raghu Honawad, Preethika Shindhe, Anirudh P. and Samarth will address emerging technology and cybersecurity trends.
