Parades will be held in Paris and along the River Seine in September to celebrate the opening of a new Hindu temple just outside the French capital.
To celebrate the inauguration of the BAPS Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir - the first traditionally designed stone Hindu temple in France - there will be a 13-day cultural festival.
As well as religious ceremonies and official events at the temple, there will also be art, music and traditional events.
Two of the largest events are being held in central Paris - a thematic 11-boat procession along the River Seine celebrating culture, spirituality, and harmony, held on Thursday, September 3rd.
And a colourful 14-float procession of music, dance, and culture through the heart of Paris on Saturday, September 5th.
