President Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska laid flowers at the Wall of Remembrance of Ukraine’s Fallen Defenders.
Zelensky announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
“The fate of Ukraine and our Independence is determined by the daily efforts of everyone who defends our country and helps it stand strong. And it is important for all of us to remember the price at which our freedom is won. To honor all those who fought and continue to fight for Ukraine. And to be grateful to everyone who contributes to keeping Ukraine free. Today, together, we honored the memory of our fallen heroes at the Wall of Remembrance in Kyiv,” Zelensky said.
He expressed eternal gratitude to everyone who has defended and continues to defend the country.
“Eternal memory to our defenders who gave their lives defending Ukraine,” the President emphasized.
