Dubai Police impounded 497 vehicles in the first half of 2025 due to unpaid fines and expired registrations.

Some vehicles accumulated fines reaching tens of thousands of dirhams, with several owners failing to renew registrations for years.

Vehicle owners are contacted before any impoundment action and urged to settle fines and renew registrations promptly.

Drivers can pay fines via the Dubai Police app, website, self-service kiosks, Smart Police Stations, and flexible instalment plans.
