MANILA, Philippines — The South Cotabato II Electric Cooperative (Socoteco II) aims to cut system losses charged to consumers to 5.5 percent, with new capital from Razon-Pacquiao-backed Ignite Power supporting its modernization program.

In a statement, Ignite Power information officer Jonathan Cabrera said the fresh funds would help the power cooperative strengthen its distribution system and subsequently trim system losses from the current 8.25 percent.
