(Seoul Global Center) A cultural exchange program centered on Chuseok will bring Korean and foreign participants together to experience traditional holiday customs and share stories about celebrations in their home countries.The three-hour program will be held Sept. 5 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Seoul Global Student Support Center in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul. All activities will be conducted in Korean.The program will include a live podcast session with Didi, a YouTuber who produces content on Korean culture, and traditional Chuseok activities.Participants will be able to sample songpyeon, half-moon-shaped rice cakes traditionally eaten during Chuseok, and play yutnori, a traditional Korean board game. Participants will also have the opportunity to share stories about holiday traditions in their home countries.The program is free and open to both Korean and foreign nationals, with 24 people to be selected.Applications can be submitted via QR code or Google Form through Aug. 31. Those applying with friends can enter their companions' names in the relevant section of the form, but each participant must submit a separate application.Selected applicants will be notified individually by text message on Sept. 2. Participants will be chosen through a qualitative review rather than on a first-come, first-served basis.
