In Kyiv, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre inspected one of the sites damaged by the Russian strike on the capital.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

“As part of an official visit to Ukraine, State Emergency Service Head Andriy Danik met with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre. During the meeting, they inspected one of the sites in Kyiv that was damaged as a result of the Russian strike,” the statement reads.

The head of the State Emergency Service briefed the Norwegian delegation on the response protocols for emergency units operating in wartime conditions and discussed the key challenges Ukrainian rescue workers face on a daily basis.

As Danik noted, State Emergency Service specialists are working under difficult conditions, often under the threat of repeated shelling.
