Nigerian champions Edo Queens Football Club will begin their 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League qualifying campaign in the WAFU B tournament in Burkina Faso on Monday (today), when they face AS Garde Nationale of Niger in their Group B opening match.

The match is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Stade du 4 Août in Ouagadougou.

The reigning NWFL champions look confident ahead of today’s encounter, with assistant coach Gabriel Benson speaking on the readiness of the 2024 WAFU B champions during their training session on Sunday evening.

Coach Benson said the team is well prepared for the tournament, assuring Edo people and Nigerians of a good outing.
