The Ondo State Police Command has arrested two suspected members of a kidnapping syndicate allegedly linked to the abduction of a man, Abubakar Abdullahim, at Molege, near Owo, in the Owo Local Government Area of the state.

The arrests came amid security concerns over the activities of suspected kidnappers operating around communities in the Owo area, with the police saying it was intensifying intelligence-led operations to dismantle criminal networks in the area.

The suspects were identified as Adamu Rabiu and Haruna Likita.

The command disclosed this in a statement issued by its Public Relations Officer, DSP Abayomi Jimoh, on Sunday.
