Lebanese TikTok influencer Georges Dib, known as Dr Food, was arrested in a raid on his home in northern Lebanon's Akkar governorate.
Dr Food, who has 8.5 million followers, faces charges of manufacturing, trafficking and smuggling drugs abroad, with a life sentence already issued against him.
Authorities conducted a month of surveillance before the arrest, as Dib frequently changed vehicles and phone numbers to evade detection.
Drug-stuffed sweets and food items linked to his confectionery business were seized at Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport, intended for export to the Gulf.
