Ndakpada, a resident of Lata-Nna community in Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State, has remained in the custody of his abductors since July 30, 2026, according to his family.

Bandits who kidnapped a farmer and teacher with the Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Mohammed Abubakar Ndakpada, have demanded an additional N5 million ransom after his family paid N12 million and supplied food, drinks and other items to secure his release.

Ndakpada, a resident of Lata-Nna community in Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State, has remained in the custody of his abductors since July 30, 2026, according to his family.

The family told SaharaReporters that they had already paid N12 million to the bandits following negotiations over his release.
