TOKYO, August 23. /TASS/. A magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck off Japan’s northernmost Island of Hokkaido the rocked the Pakistani-controlled part of Kashmir, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.

The epicenter was located near the city of Urakawa on the Hokkaido’s southern coast, with its focus lying at a depth of 40 kilometers beneath the sea bottom.
