Why did Eddie Howe leave Newcastle?: The English manager parted ways with Newcastle by mutual consent in July as he claimed time was needed to "recharge and take a break." Reports cited the major key players who have departed the club in recent seasons as a reason why Howe decided to resign.
Other coaching exits: When Howe stepped down, his backroom team left Newcastle as well.
