One person is dead after a tour bus carrying the rock band Buckcherry crashed while on the road for their national tour.At around 2 a.m. Friday morning, Buckcherry’s tour bus was in a multi-vehicle accident on South Carolina highway I-26 near Spartanburg.“We are extremely grateful to report that all members of Buckcherry and our touring crew are safe and unharmed,” the band said in a statement on Facebook. “Tragically, authorities have confirmed that the collision that occurred ahead of our bus resulted in a fatality. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the family and loved ones of the person who lost their life.”The person who was killed in the crash has not been publicly identified.Buckcherry's tour bus was involved in a deadly crash that killed one person (Getty)The South Carolina Department of Transportation said a driver stepped out of his car on the highway and was struck and killed by a Toyota sedan.Buckcherry’s scheduled performance Saturday in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, went ahead as planned.The collision happened during the band’s Roar Like Thunder tour, named after its 2025 studio album.
