This year, the consulate general has repatriated 3,920 Indonesians as of July while Program M has deported 3,558 Indonesians through the scheme as of mid-August.

The Indonesian Consulate General in Johor Bahru facilitated what was dubbed as the largest batch of repatriation in one day by facilitating the return of 307 Indonesians on Tuesday.There were three batches of repatriation from Stulang Laut and Pasir Gudang ferry terminals in Johor Bahru to Batam Center Ferry Terminal in Batam, Riau Islands.
