Ukrainian air defense downed 97 drones over the north, south, and east of the country. Twenty-seven drones made it through and struck 22 locations, and the debris of downed drones was found at three locations, the report read.In southeastern Zaporizhzhia Oblast, three people were killed, and 20 were injured by Russian attacks, regional governor Ivan Fedorov said on Aug. 23. Russian forces carried out 559 attacks on 40 settlements in Zaporizhzhia Oblast over the past day, Fedorov said.He later added at around 10 a.m. local time that Russia attacked the area around a shopping center in the city of Zaporizhzhia.
