The Big Brother Naija Season 11 house has been thrown into another twist following the voluntary exit of Neche Maduagwu, even as eight housemates face possible eviction in Sunday’s live show.
Neche’s decision to leave the “Show Ya Sef” house on Sunday, August 16, came shortly after she had served as Head of House, making her departure particularly unexpected. According to Big Brother Naija organisers, the 25-year-old voluntarily exited the competition to attend to “pressing personal matters” requiring her immediate attention.
Before leaving, Neche reportedly informed her fellow housemates of her decision, removed her microphone and name tag, and proceeded to the Diary Room. The organisers said they respected her decision and wished her success outside the show.
Her departure has also revived memories of other housemates who have walked away from the reality show before their time, as well as those who contemplated doing so but eventually remained.
