Several party workers were injured in the incident. This attack was carried out at the behest of Education Minister Madan Dilawar, and the attackers were associated with local MLA Kailash Verma. Verma, however, accused the CJP members of creating unrest in the village during an unauthorised school visit. The Government Primary School at Rampura Kanwarpura was declared dilapidated in September 2025 and subsequently taken out of use. After the building was declared unsafe, local villagers provided two rooms and a tin shed as an alternative arrangement to allow classes to continue.
