They pushed him to the floor and beat him brutally. They also pushed me.”Sharing the details of the incident, his mother said the men pinned her son to the ground and hit him in the stomach. "I just went to give them a glass of water. They had pinned down my boy. They threw him on the bed and grabbed him by the neck. They kicked and punched him in the stomach," NDTV quoted the mother as saying.The grieving mother said she had gone out to call the neighbours, but when she returned "they had finished my boy". Vinay passed away on the way to the hospital. "I only had one child," she said.What was the dispute aboutAccording to police, the incident took place on Friday morning after Gupta asked his wife to apply medicine to their son as he had developed blisters on his body. "The two allegedly got into an argument after she refused. Soon after, Rekha left the house and called her two brothers and sister-in-law," a senior police officer said.Rekha, Raju, Vedprakash and Poonam were arrested after a case under sections 103(1) (murder) and 3(5) (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) was registered at the Nihal Vihar police station, police said.Investigators are examining CCTV footage and statements of neighbours and family members to establish the sequence of events.
